Katie's CD, Full Blast Alive: Voices from the Ruby Side, features monologues from her entourage of five female characters who hail from around the globe. Sporting a wild medley of accents and attitudes, Katie's characters include a 15 year-old Irish girl who gets a wild sustenance from dancing to a Stevie Wonder song on the transistor radio, a tough Long Island woman avenging the breast cancer rampant in her neighborhood by crashing a party to single-handedly take on the pharmaceutical-chemical industry, and a French woman who overcomes her jealousy by joining the circus and trapezing her way to liberation. Venus and the Hitchhikers (2007) features a tangy narrative about Venus and her right-hand man Pan, who are rowing around the world in a bright red boat in their efforts to spread some love salve on the 21st century's first bloom of greed, fear and loneliness. They stop for some R&R in Provincetown, Massachusetts, a pansexual fishing village at the tip and cultural edge of America.
